Welcome to the 60th edition of our famous Speicher series. According to our longstanding tradition the Speicher committee declined millions of mediocre submissions and accepted only the bravest of the bravest couple. The A-side belongs to our old Cocoon friend Toni Rios who delivered a nicely sexed up techhouse tune that reminds us of Chicago house, Akufen and Marc Kinchen (where are you?) at the same time. After all, when the hookline kicks in we're reassured that this one stems from Frankfurt and Frankfurt only. How many times did we try to make a Pan/Tone release happen on Kompakt? How many liters of spirits have been consumed whilst talking about this? Sheldon Thompson aka Pan/Tone, Sid le Rock, The Beef Baron or simply Shelbono „Barracuda“ del Monte used to be our neighbour throughout the past five years. Now he testwise moved to Berlin and leaves back with lovely memories and a cool track appropriately entitled „Hair of the dog“. Farewell, Sheldon!
