Next to Gui Boratto and Hug, STEADYCAM counts amongst the most prolific breedings of KOMPAKT‘s bootcamp K2. This resourceful Swedish youngster keeps dropping one bomb after the other on us. His favourite game is called polka techno and that‘s why he‘s got a hell lot of friends in Cologne. „Get up on there“ is a mean little stinker that only reveals its devastating powers when played out in full. Just hang in there and wait for those LSD bells to do their trick. WE simply love it! NIGHTGUY is a new guy. His parents too threw him into this world within the cold kingdom of Sweden. Now being an adult commuter between Stockholm and - guess where? right! - Berlin, he managed to put a CDr in a post box which contained this track called „Pretty face“. We instantly fell in love with it and started running some tests. The audience‘s reactions were far beyond our wildest expectations. Rex Club, Paris 3.56h: Mayhem! Panoramabar, Berlin 6.38h: Carnage! Culture Box, Copenhagen, 2.26h: Nirvana! That‘s enough proof to qualify for a Speicher release. It‘s the subtle blend of carlcraiggy deepness, an overall xtc vibe and the perfect timing and dramaturgy that make „Pretty Face“ a real winner.
